سفر المراثي الإصحاح 3 — Lamentations 3

אֵיכָה פרק ג׳

مراثي أورشليم وهيكل القدس، تُتلى في التاسع من آب بخشوع ودموع.

  1. אֲנִ֤י הַגֶּ֙בֶר֙ רָאָ֣ה עֳנִ֔י בְּשֵׁ֖בֶט עֶבְרָתֽוֹ׃ {ס}

    أَنَا هُوَ الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي شَهِدَ الْبَلِيَّةَ الَّتِي أَنْزَلَهَا قَضِيبُ سُخْطِهِ.

    I am the man that hath seen affliction By the rod of His wrath.

  2. אוֹתִ֥י נָהַ֛ג וַיֹּלַ֖ךְ חֹ֥שֶׁךְ וְלֹא־אֽוֹר׃ {ס}

    قَادَنِي وَسَيَّرَنِي فِي الظُّلْمَةِ مِنْ غَيْرِ نُورٍ.

    He hath led me and caused me to walk in darkness and not in light.

  3. אַ֣ךְ בִּ֥י יָשֻׁ֛ב יַהֲפֹ֥ךְ יָד֖וֹ כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ {ס}

    حَقّاً إِنَّهُ يَمُدُّ يَدَهُ عَلَيَّ مَرَّةً تِلْوَ الْمَرَّةِ طُولَ النَّهَارِ.

    Surely against me He turneth His hand again and again all the day.

  4. בִּלָּ֤ה בְשָׂרִי֙ וְעוֹרִ֔י שִׁבַּ֖ר עַצְמוֹתָֽי׃ {ס}

    أَبْلَى لَحْمِي وَجِلْدِي. هَشَّمَ عِظَامِي.

    My flesh and my skin hath He worn out; He hath broken my bones.

  5. בָּנָ֥ה עָלַ֛י וַיַּקַּ֖ף רֹ֥אשׁ וּתְלָאָֽה׃ {ס}

    حَاصَرَنِي وَأَحَاطَنِي بِالْعَلْقَمِ وَالْمَشَقَّةِ.

    He hath builded against me, and compassed me With gall and travail.

  6. בְּמַחֲשַׁכִּ֥ים הוֹשִׁיבַ֖נִי כְּמֵתֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם׃ {ס}

    أَسْكَنَنِي فِي الظُّلْمَةِ كَمَوْتَى الْحِقَبِ الْغَابِرَةِ.

    He hath made me to dwell in dark places, As those that have been long dead. .

  7. גָּדַ֧ר בַּעֲדִ֛י וְלֹ֥א אֵצֵ֖א הִכְבִּ֥יד נְחׇשְׁתִּֽי׃ {ס}

    سَيَّجَ حَوْلِي حَتَّى لَا أُفْلِتَ. أَثْقَلَ عَلَيَّ قُيُودِي.

    He hath hedged me about, that I cannot go forth; He hath made my chain heavy.

  8. גַּ֣ם כִּ֤י אֶזְעַק֙ וַאֲשַׁוֵּ֔עַ שָׂתַ֖ם תְּפִלָּתִֽי׃ {ס}

    حَتَّى حِينَ أَصْرُخُ وَأَسْتَغِيثُ يَصُدُّ صَلاتِي.

    Yea, when I cry and call for help, He shutteth out my prayer.

  9. גָּדַ֤ר דְּרָכַי֙ בְּגָזִ֔ית נְתִיבֹתַ֖י עִוָּֽה׃ {ס}

    قَدْ أَغْلَقَ عَلَيَّ طُرُقِي بِحِجَارَةٍ مَنْحُوتَةٍ، وَجَعَلَ مَسَالِكِي مُلْتَوِيَةً.

    He hath enclosed my ways with hewn stone, He hath made my paths crooked.

  10. דֹּ֣ב אֹרֵ֥ב הוּא֙ לִ֔י (אריה) [אֲרִ֖י] בְּמִסְתָּרִֽים׃ {ס}

    هُوَ لِي كَدُبٍّ مُتَرَبِّصٍ، وَكَأَسَدٍ مُتَرَصِّدٍ فِي مَكْمَنِهِ.

    He is unto me as a bear lying in wait, As a lion in secret places.

  11. דְּרָכַ֥י סוֹרֵ֛ר וַֽיְפַשְּׁחֵ֖נִי שָׂמַ֥נִי שֹׁמֵֽם׃ {ס}

    أَضَلَّ طُرُقِي وَمَزَّقَنِي إِرْباً. دَمَّرَنِي.

    He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; He hath made me desolate.

  12. דָּרַ֤ךְ קַשְׁתּוֹ֙ וַיַּצִּיבֵ֔נִי כַּמַּטָּרָ֖א לַחֵֽץ׃ {ס}

    وَتَّرَ قَوْسَهُ وَنَصَبَنِي هَدَفاً لِسَهْمِهِ.

    He hath bent His bow, and set me As a mark for the arrow.

  13. הֵבִיא֙ בְּכִלְיֹתָ֔י בְּנֵ֖י אַשְׁפָּתֽוֹ׃ {ס}

    اخْتَرَقَ كُلْيَتَيَّ بِنِبَالِ جُعْبَتِهِ.

    He hath caused the arrows of His quiver To enter into my reins.

  14. הָיִ֤יתִי שְּׂחֹק֙ לְכׇל־עַמִּ֔י נְגִינָתָ֖ם כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ {ס}

    صِرْتُ مَثَارَ هُزْءٍ لِشَعْبِي وَأُهْجِيَةً لَهُمُ الْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ.

    I am become a derision to all my people, And their song all the day.

  15. הִשְׂבִּיעַ֥נִי בַמְּרוֹרִ֖ים הִרְוַ֥נִי לַעֲנָֽה׃ {ס}

    أَشْبَعَنِي مَرَارَةً، وَأَرْوَانِي أَفْسَنْتِيناً.

    He hath filled me with bitterness, He hath sated me with wormwood.

  16. וַיַּגְרֵ֤ס בֶּֽחָצָץ֙ שִׁנָּ֔י הִכְפִּישַׁ֖נִי בָּאֵֽפֶר׃ {ס}

    هَشَّمَ أَسْنَانِي بِالْحَصَى، وَطَمَرَنِي بِالرَّمَادِ.

    He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, He hath made me to wallow in ashes.

  17. וַתִּזְנַ֧ח מִשָּׁל֛וֹם נַפְשִׁ֖י נָשִׁ֥יתִי טוֹבָֽה׃ {ס}

    فَتَنَاءَتْ نَفْسِي عَنِ السَّلامِ، وَنَسِيتُ طَعْمَ الْخَيْرَاتِ.

    And my soul is removed far off from peace, I forgot prosperity.

  18. וָאֹמַר֙ אָבַ֣ד נִצְחִ֔י וְתוֹחַלְתִּ֖י מֵה׳ {ס}

    فَقُلْتُ: «تَلاشَتْ قُوَّتِي، وَكُلُّ مَا كُنْتُ أَرْجُوهُ مِنَ الرَّبِّ».

    And I said: ‘My strength is perished, And mine expectation from the LORD.’

  19. זְכׇר־עׇנְיִ֥י וּמְרוּדִ֖י לַעֲנָ֥ה וָרֹֽאשׁ׃ {ס}

    اُذْكُرْ بَلِيَّتِي وَتَيَهَانِي وَالأَفْسَنْتِينَ وَالْمَرَارَةَ.

    Remember mine affliction and mine anguish, The wormwood and the gall.

  20. זָכ֣וֹר תִּזְכּ֔וֹר (ותשיח) [וְתָשׁ֥וֹחַ] עָלַ֖י נַפְשִֽׁי׃ {ס}

    مَا بَرِحَتْ نَفْسِي تَذْكُرُهَا وَهِيَ مُنْحَنِيَةٌ فِي دَاخِلِي.

    My soul hath them still in remembrance, And is bowed down within me.

  21. זֹ֛את אָשִׁ֥יב אֶל־לִבִּ֖י עַל־כֵּ֥ן אוֹחִֽיל׃ {ס}

    وَلَكِنْ هَذَا مَا أُنَاجِي بِهِ نَفْسِي، لِذَلِكَ يَغْمُرُنِي الرَّجَاءُ:

    This I recall to my mind, Therefore have I hope.

  22. חַֽסְדֵ֤י ה׳ כִּ֣י לֹא־תָ֔מְנוּ כִּ֥י לֹא־כָל֖וּ רַחֲמָֽיו׃ {ס}

    مِنْ إِحْسَانَاتِ الرَّبِّ أَنَّنَا لَمْ نَفْنَ، لأَنَّ مَرَاحِمَهُ لَا تَزُولُ.

    Surely the LORD’S mercies are not consumed, Surely His compassions fail not.

  23. חֲדָשִׁים֙ לַבְּקָרִ֔ים רַבָּ֖ה אֱמוּנָתֶֽךָ׃ {ס}

    تَتَجَدَّدُ فِي كُلِّ صَبَاحٍ. فَائِقَةٌ أَمَانَتُكَ.

    They are new every morning; Great is Thy faithfulness.

  24. חֶלְקִ֤י ה׳ אָמְרָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֔י עַל־כֵּ֖ן אוֹחִ֥יל לֽוֹ׃ {ס}

    تَقُولُ نَفْسِي: «الرَّبُّ هُوَ نَصِيبِي فَلِذَلِكَ أَرْجُوهُ».

    ’The LORD is my portion’, saith my soul; ‘Therefore will I hope in Him.’

  25. ט֤וֹב ה׳ לְקֹוָ֔ו לְנֶ֖פֶשׁ תִּדְרְשֶֽׁנּוּ׃ {ס}

    الرَّبُّ صَالِحٌ لِمَنْ يَرْجُونَهُ وَلِلنَّفْسِ الَّتِي تَلْتَمِسُهُ.

    The LORD is good unto them that wait for Him, To the soul that seeketh Him.

  26. ט֤וֹב וְיָחִיל֙ וְדוּמָ֔ם לִתְשׁוּעַ֖ת ה׳ {ס}

    خَيْرٌ لِلْمَرْءِ أَنْ يَنْتَظِرَ بِصَمْتٍ خَلاصَ الرَّبِّ.

    It is good that a man should quietly wait For the salvation of the LORD.

  27. ט֣וֹב לַגֶּ֔בֶר כִּֽי־יִשָּׂ֥א עֹ֖ל בִּנְעוּרָֽיו׃ {ס}

    خَيْرٌ لِلْمَرْءِ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ النِّيرَ فِي حَدَاثَتِهِ.

    It is good for a man that he bear The yoke in his youth.

  28. יֵשֵׁ֤ב בָּדָד֙ וְיִדֹּ֔ם כִּ֥י נָטַ֖ל עָלָֽיו׃ {ס}

    لِيَعْتَكِفْ وَحِيداً فِي صَمْتٍ لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ قَدْ وَضَعَ النِّيرَ عَلَيْهِ.

    Let him sit alone and keep silence, Because He hath laid it upon him.

  29. יִתֵּ֤ן בֶּֽעָפָר֙ פִּ֔יהוּ אוּלַ֖י יֵ֥שׁ תִּקְוָֽה׃ {ס}

    لِيُوَارِ وَجْهَهُ فِي التُّرَابِ تَذَلُّلاً، عَسَى أَنْ يَكُونَ هُنَاكَ رَجَاءٌ.

    Let him put his mouth in the dust, If so be there may be hope.

  30. יִתֵּ֧ן לְמַכֵּ֛הוּ לֶ֖חִי יִשְׂבַּ֥ע בְּחֶרְפָּֽה׃ {ס}

    لِيَبْذُلْ خَدَّهُ لِلاطِمِ، وَيَشْبَعْ تَعْيِيراً.

    Let him give his cheek to him that smiteth him Let him be filled full with reproach.

  31. כִּ֣י לֹ֥א יִזְנַ֛ח לְעוֹלָ֖ם ה׳ {ס}

    لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ لَا يَنْبِذُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

    For the Lord will not cast off For ever.

  32. כִּ֣י אִם־הוֹגָ֔ה וְרִחַ֖ם כְּרֹ֥ב חֲסָדָֽיו׃ {ס}

    فَإِنَّهُ وَلَوْ أَحْزَنَ يَرْأَفُ بِمُقْتَضَى رَحْمَتِهِ الْفَائِقَةِ.

    For though He cause grief, yet will He have compassion According to the multitude of His mercies.

  33. כִּ֣י לֹ֤א עִנָּה֙ מִלִּבּ֔וֹ וַיַּגֶּ֖ה בְּנֵי־אִֽישׁ׃ {ס}

    لأَنَّهُ لَا يَتَعَمَّدُ أَنْ يَبْتَلِيَ أَبْنَاءَ الْبَشَرِ بِالْبُؤْسِ وَالأَسَى،

    For He doth not afflict willingly, Nor grieve the children of men.

  34. לְדַכֵּא֙ תַּ֣חַת רַגְלָ֔יו כֹּ֖ל אֲסִ֥ירֵי אָֽרֶץ׃ {ס}

    وَلا أَنْ يَسْحَقَ أَسْرَى الأَرْضِ تَحْتَ الأَقْدَامِ،

    To crush under foot All the prisoners of the earth,

  35. לְהַטּוֹת֙ מִשְׁפַּט־גָּ֔בֶר נֶ֖גֶד פְּנֵ֥י עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ {ס}

    وَلا أَنْ يَجُورَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى حُقُوقِ الإِنْسَانِ، أَمَامَ عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ الْعَلِيِّ

    To turn aside the right of a man Before the face of the Most High,

  36. לְעַוֵּ֤ת אָדָם֙ בְּרִיב֔וֹ ה׳ לֹ֥א רָאָֽה׃ {ס}

    أَوْ أَنْ لَا يُنْصَفَ الإِنْسَانُ فِي دَعْوَاهُ. أَلا يَرَى الرَّبُّ هَذِهِ الأُمُورَ؟

    To subvert a man in his cause, The Lord approveth not.

  37. מִ֣י זֶ֤ה אָמַר֙ וַתֶּ֔הִי ה׳ לֹ֥א צִוָּֽה׃ {ס}

    مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَقْضِي بِأَمْرٍ فَيَتَحَقَّقَ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنِ الرَّبُّ قَدْ أَمَرَ بِهِ؟

    Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, When the Lord commandeth it not?

  38. מִפִּ֤י עֶלְיוֹן֙ לֹ֣א תֵצֵ֔א הָרָע֖וֹת וְהַטּֽוֹב׃ {ס}

    أَلَيْسَ مِنْ فَمِ الْعَلِيِّ يَصْدُرُ الضُّرُّ وَالْخَيْرُ؟

    Out of the mouth of the Most High proceedeth not Evil and good?

  39. מַה־יִּתְאוֹנֵן֙ אָדָ֣ם חָ֔י גֶּ֖בֶר עַל־חֲטָאָֽו׃ {ס}

    فَلِمَاذَا يَشْتَكِي الإِنْسَانُ الْحَيُّ حِينَ يُعَاقَبُ عَلَى خَطَايَاهُ؟

    Wherefore doth a living man complain, A strong man because of his sins?

  40. נַחְפְּשָׂ֤ה דְרָכֵ֙ינוּ֙ וְֽנַחְקֹ֔רָה וְנָשׁ֖וּבָה עַד־ה׳ {ס}

    لِنَفْحَصْ طُرُقَنَا وَنَخْتَبِرْهَا وَنَرْجِعْ إِلَى الرَّبِّ.

    Let us search and try our ways, And return to the LORD.

  41. נִשָּׂ֤א לְבָבֵ֙נוּ֙ אֶל־כַּפָּ֔יִם אֶל־אֵ֖ל בַּשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ {ס}

    لِنَرْفَعْ قُلُوبَنَا وَأَيْدِيَنَا إِلَى الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ.

    Let us lift up our heart with our hands Unto God in the heavens.

  42. נַ֤חְנוּ פָשַׁ֙עְנוּ֙ וּמָרִ֔ינוּ אַתָּ֖ה לֹ֥א סָלָֽחְתָּ׃ {ס}

    قَدْ تَعَدَّيْنَا وَتَمَرَّدْنَا، وَأَنْتَ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ.

    We have transgressed and have rebelled; Thou hast not pardoned.

  43. סַכּ֤וֹתָה בָאַף֙ וַֽתִּרְדְּפֵ֔נוּ הָרַ֖גְתָּ לֹ֥א חָמָֽלְתָּ׃ {ס}

    لَفَّعْتَ نَفْسَكَ بِالْغَضَبِ وَتَعَقَّبْتَنَا. قَتَلْتَ مِنْ غَيْرِ رَحْمَةٍ.

    Thou hast covered with anger and pursued us; Thou hast slain unsparingly.

  44. סַכּ֤וֹתָה בֶֽעָנָן֙ לָ֔ךְ מֵעֲב֖וֹר תְּפִלָּֽה׃ {ס}

    تَلَفَّعْتَ بِالسَّحَابِ حَتَّى لَا تَبْلُغَ إِلَيْكَ صَلاةٌ.

    Thou hast covered Thyself with a cloud, So that no prayer can pass through.

  45. סְחִ֧י וּמָא֛וֹס תְּשִׂימֵ֖נוּ בְּקֶ֥רֶב הָעַמִּֽים׃ {ס}

    قَدْ جَعَلْتَنَا أَوْسَاخاً وَأَقْذَاراً بَيْنَ الشُّعُوبِ.

    Thou hast made us as the offscouring and refuse In the midst of the peoples.

  46. פָּצ֥וּ עָלֵ֛ינוּ פִּיהֶ֖ם כׇּל־אֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃ {ס}

    فَتَحَ عَلَيْنَا جَمِيعُ أَعْدَائِنَا أفْوَاهَهُمْ،

    All our enemies have opened their mouth Wide against us.

  47. פַּ֧חַד וָפַ֛חַת הָ֥יָה לָ֖נוּ הַשֵּׁ֥את וְהַשָּֽׁבֶר׃ {ס}

    وَحَلَّ بِنَا الرُّعْبُ وَالْهَلاكُ وَالدَّمَارُ وَالسَّحْقُ.

    Terror and the pit are come upon us, Desolation and destruction.

  48. פַּלְגֵי־מַ֙יִם֙ תֵּרַ֣ד עֵינִ֔י עַל־שֶׁ֖בֶר בַּת־עַמִּֽי׃ {ס}

    تَفِيضُ عَيْنَايَ بِأَنْهَارِ مِيَاهٍ عَلَى دَمَارِ ابْنَةِ شَعْبِي.

    Mine eye runneth down with rivers of water, For the breach of the daughter of my people.

  49. עֵינִ֧י נִגְּרָ֛ה וְלֹ֥א תִדְמֶ֖ה מֵאֵ֥ין הֲפֻגֽוֹת׃ {ס}

    لَنْ تَكُفَّ عَيْنَايَ عَنِ الْبُكَاءِ أَبداً،

    Mine eye is poured out, and ceaseth not, Without any intermission,

  50. עַד־יַשְׁקִ֣יף וְיֵ֔רֶא ה׳ מִשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ {ס}

    حَتَّى يُشْرِفَ الرَّبُّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَيُبْصِرَ.

    Till the LORD look forth, And behold from heaven.

  51. עֵינִי֙ עֽוֹלְלָ֣ה לְנַפְשִׁ֔י מִכֹּ֖ל בְּנ֥וֹת עִירִֽי׃ {ס}

    تَتْلَفُ عَيْنَايَ عَلَى مَصِيرِ كُلِّ بَنَاتِ مَدِينَتِي.

    Mine eye affected my soul, Because of all the daughters of my city.

  52. צ֥וֹד צָד֛וּנִי כַּצִּפּ֖וֹר אֹיְבַ֥י חִנָּֽם׃ {ס}

    قَدِ اصْطَادَنِي، كَعُصْفُورٍ، أَعْدَائِي الَّذِينَ لَمْ أُسِئْ إِلَيْهِمْ،

    They have chased me sore like a bird, That are mine enemies without cause.

  53. צָֽמְת֤וּ בַבּוֹר֙ חַיָּ֔י וַיַּדּוּ־אֶ֖בֶן בִּֽי׃ {ס}

    طَرَحُونِي حَيًّا فِي الْجُبِّ وَرَجَمُونِي بِالْحِجَارَةِ.

    They have cut off my life in the dungeon, And have cast stones upon me.

  54. צָֽפוּ־מַ֥יִם עַל־רֹאשִׁ֖י אָמַ֥רְתִּי נִגְזָֽרְתִּי׃ {ס}

    طَغَتِ الْمِيَاهُ فَوْقَ رَأْسِي، فَقُلْتُ: «قَدْ هَلَكْتُ».

    Waters flowed over my head; I said: ‘I am cut off.’

  55. קָרָ֤אתִי שִׁמְךָ֙ ה׳ מִבּ֖וֹר תַּחְתִּיּֽוֹת׃ {ס}

    اسْتَغَثْتُ بِاسْمِكَ يَا رَبُّ مِنْ أَعْمَاقِ الْجُبِّ،

    I called upon Thy name, O LORD, Out of the lowest dungeon.

  56. קוֹלִ֖י שָׁמָ֑עְתָּ אַל־תַּעְלֵ֧ם אׇזְנְךָ֛ לְרַוְחָתִ֖י לְשַׁוְעָתִֽי׃ {ס}

    فَسَمِعْتَ صَوْتِي. لَا تَصُمَّ أُذُنَيْكَ عَنْ صُرَاخِ اسْتِغَاثَتِي.

    Thou heardest my voice; hide not Thine ear at my sighing, at my cry.

  57. קָרַ֙בְתָּ֙ בְּי֣וֹם אֶקְרָאֶ֔ךָּ אָמַ֖רְתָּ אַל־תִּירָֽא׃ {ס}

    اقْتَرَبْتَ حِينَ دَعَوْتُكَ إِذْ قُلْتَ: «لا تَخَفْ».

    Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon Thee; Thou saidst: ‘Fear not.’ .

  58. רַ֧בְתָּ ה׳ רִיבֵ֥י נַפְשִׁ֖י גָּאַ֥לְתָּ חַיָּֽי׃ {ס}

    قَدْ دَافَعْتَ عَنْ دَعْوَايَ يَا رَبُّ، وَافْتَدَيْتَ حَيَاتِي.

    O Lord, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; Thou hast redeemed my life.

  59. רָאִ֤יתָה ה׳ עַוָּ֣תָתִ֔י שׇׁפְטָ֖ה מִשְׁפָּטִֽי׃ {ס}

    O LORD, Thou hast seen my wrong; Judge Thou my cause.

  60. רָאִ֙יתָה֙ כׇּל־נִקְמָתָ֔ם כׇּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖ם לִֽי׃ {ס}

    قَدْ رَأَيْتَ انْتِقَامَهُمْ كُلَّهُ وَسَائِرَ مُؤَامَرَاتِهِمْ عَلَيَّ.

    Thou hast seen all their vengeance And all their devices against me.

  61. שָׁמַ֤עְתָּ חֶרְפָּתָם֙ ה׳ כׇּל־מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֖ם עָלָֽי׃ {ס}

    Thou hast heard their taunt, O LORD, And all their devices against me;

  62. שִׂפְתֵ֤י קָמַי֙ וְהֶגְיוֹנָ֔ם עָלַ֖י כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ {ס}

    وَسَمِعْتَ كَلامَ أَعْدَائِي وَتَدْبِيرَاتِهِمْ ضِدِّي الْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ.

    The lips of those that rose up against me, And their muttering against me all the day.

    Thou wilt render unto them a recompense, O LORD, According to the work of their hands.

  65. תִּתֵּ֤ן לָהֶם֙ מְגִנַּת־לֵ֔ב תַּאֲלָֽתְךָ֖ לָהֶֽם׃ {ס}

    Thou wilt pursue them in anger, and destroy them From under the heavens of the LORD.
