سفر يونان الإصحاح 2 — Jonah 2

יוֹנָה פרק ב׳

النبي الهارب والحوت العظيم وتوبة نينوى؛ يُقرأ في يوم الغفران.

1. וַיְמַ֤ן ה׳ דָּ֣ג גָּד֔וֹל לִבְלֹ֖עַ אֶת־יוֹנָ֑ה וַיְהִ֤י יוֹנָה֙ בִּמְעֵ֣י הַדָּ֔ג שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה יָמִ֖ים וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה לֵילֽוֹת׃

   وَأَمَّا الرَّبُّ فَأَعَدَّ حُوتاً عَظِيماً ابْتَلَعَ يُونَانَ. فَمَكَثَ يُونَانُ فِي جَوْفِ الْحُوتِ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَثَلاثَ لَيَالٍ.

   And the LORD prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah; and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

2. וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֣ל יוֹנָ֔ה אֶל־ה׳ אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ מִמְּעֵ֖י הַדָּגָֽה׃

   ثُمَّ صَلَّى يُونَانُ إِلَى الرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِ مِنْ جَوْفِ الْحُوتِ،

   Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly.

3. וַיֹּ֗אמֶר קָ֠רָ֠אתִי מִצָּ֥רָה לִ֛י אֶל־ה׳ וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֑נִי מִבֶּ֧טֶן שְׁא֛וֹל שִׁוַּ֖עְתִּי שָׁמַ֥עְתָּ קוֹלִֽי׃

   قَائِلاً: «اسْتَغَثْتُ بِالرَّبِّ فِي ضِيقِي فَاسْتَجَابَ لِي، وَمِنْ جَوْفِ الْهَاوِيَةِ ابْتَهَلْتُ فَسَمِعْتَ صَوْتِي.

   And he said: I called out of mine affliction Unto the LORD, and He answered me; Out of the belly of the nether-world cried I, And Thou heardest my voice.

4. וַתַּשְׁלִיכֵ֤נִי מְצוּלָה֙ בִּלְבַ֣ב יַמִּ֔ים וְנָהָ֖ר יְסֹבְבֵ֑נִי כׇּל־מִשְׁבָּרֶ֥יךָ וְגַלֶּ֖יךָ עָלַ֥י עָבָֽרוּ׃

   لأَنَّكَ طَرَحْتَنِي إِلَى اللُّجَجِ الْعَمِيقَةِ فِي قَلْبِ الْبِحَارِ، فَاكْتَنَفَنِي الْغَمْرُ وَأَحَاطَتْ بِي تَيَّارَاتُكَ وَأَمْوَاجُكَ

   For Thou didst cast me into the depth, In the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me; All Thy waves and Thy billows Passed over me.

5. וַאֲנִ֣י אָמַ֔רְתִּי נִגְרַ֖שְׁתִּי מִנֶּ֣גֶד עֵינֶ֑יךָ אַ֚ךְ אוֹסִ֣יף לְהַבִּ֔יט אֶל־הֵיכַ֖ל קׇדְשֶֽׁךָ׃

   فَقُلْتُ: قَدْ طُرِدْتُ مِنْ حَضْرَتِكَ، وَلَنْ أَعُودَ أَتَفَرَّسُ فِي هَيْكَلِكَ الْمُقَدَّسِ.

   And I said: ‘I am cast out From before Thine eyes’; Yet I will look again Toward Thy holy temple.

6. אֲפָפ֤וּנִי מַ֙יִם֙ עַד־נֶ֔פֶשׁ תְּה֖וֹם יְסֹבְבֵ֑נִי ס֖וּף חָב֥וּשׁ לְרֹאשִֽׁי׃

   قَدْ غَمَرَتْنِي الْمِيَاهُ وَأَحْدَقَتْ بِيَ اللُّجَجُ، وَالْتَفَّ عُشْبُ الْبَحْرِ حَوْلَ رَأْسِي.

   The waters compassed me about, even to the soul; The deep was round about me; The weeds were wrapped about my head.

7. לְקִצְבֵ֤י הָרִים֙ יָרַ֔דְתִּי הָאָ֛רֶץ בְּרִחֶ֥יהָ בַעֲדִ֖י לְעוֹלָ֑ם וַתַּ֧עַל מִשַּׁ֛חַת חַיַּ֖י ה׳ אֱ-לֹהֵי׃

   انْحَدَرْتُ إِلَى أُسُسِ الْجِبَالِ وَهَبَطْتُ إِلَى أَعْمَاقِ الأَرْضِ حَيْثُ أُغْلِقَتْ عَلَيَّ مَزَالِيجُهَا إِلَى الأَبَدِ. وَلَكِنَّكَ تُصْعِدُ حَيَاتِي مِنَ الْهَاوِيَةِ أَيُّهَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهِي.

   I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; The earth with her bars closed upon me for ever; Yet hast Thou brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God.

8. בְּהִתְעַטֵּ֤ף עָלַי֙ נַפְשִׁ֔י אֶת־ה׳ זָכָ֑רְתִּי וַתָּב֤וֹא אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ תְּפִלָּתִ֔י אֶל־הֵיכַ֖ל קׇדְשֶֽׁךָ׃

   عِنْدَمَا وَهَنَتْ نَفْسِي فِي دَاخِلِي، تَذَكَّرْتُ إِلَهِي، فَحَلَّقَتْ صَلاتِي إِلَيْكَ، إِلَى هَيْكَلِكَ الْمُقَدَّسِ.

   When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; And my prayer came in unto Thee, Into Thy holy temple.

9. מְשַׁמְּרִ֖ים הַבְלֵי־שָׁ֑וְא חַסְדָּ֖ם יַעֲזֹֽבוּ׃

   إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُبَجِّلُونَ الأَصْنَامَ الْبَاطِلَةَ يَتَخَلَّوْنَ عَنْ مَصْدَرِ نِعْمَتِهِمْ.

   They that regard lying vanities Forsake their own mercy.

10. וַאֲנִ֗י בְּק֤וֹל תּוֹדָה֙ אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּ֔ךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָדַ֖רְתִּי אֲשַׁלֵּ֑מָה יְשׁוּעָ֖תָה לַה׳ {פ}

    أَمَّا أَنَا فَبِهُتَافِ الْحَمْدِ أَذْبَحُ لَكَ، وَمَا نَذَرْتُهُ أُوفِي بِهِ، لأَنَّ لِلرَّبِّ الْخَلاصَ».

    But I will sacrifice unto Thee With the voice of thanksgiving; That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is of the LORD.

11. וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ה׳ לַדָּ֑ג וַיָּקֵ֥א אֶת־יוֹנָ֖ה אֶל־הַיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃ {ס}

    فَأَمَرَ الرَّبُّ الْحُوتَ فَقَذَفَ بِيُونَانَ إِلَى الشَّاطِئِ.

    And the LORD spoke unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.
