Psalm 101 — المزمور 101

1. לְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר חֶֽסֶד־וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט אָשִׁ֑ירָה לְךָ֖ ה׳ אֲזַמֵּֽרָה׃

   سَأُشِيدُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَعَدْلِكَ يَا رَبُّ، وَلَكَ أُرَنِّمُ.

   A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.

2. אַשְׂכִּ֤ילָה ׀ בְּדֶ֬רֶךְ תָּמִ֗ים מָ֭תַי תָּב֣וֹא אֵלָ֑י אֶתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ בְּתׇם־לְ֝בָבִ֗י בְּקֶ֣רֶב בֵּיתִֽי׃

   أَسْلُكُ بِتَعَقُّلٍ فِي طَرِيقِ الْكَمَالِ. مَتَى تَأْتِي يَا رَبُّ لِمَعُونَتِي؟ أَسْلُكُ فِي وَسَطِ بَيْتِي بِاسْتِقَامَةِ قَلْبِي.

   I will give heed unto the way of integrity; oh when wilt Thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

3. לֹֽא־אָשִׁ֨ית ׀ לְנֶ֥גֶד עֵינַ֗י דְּֽבַר־בְּלִ֫יָּ֥עַל עֲשֹֽׂה־סֵטִ֥ים שָׂנֵ֑אתִי לֹ֖א יִדְבַּ֣ק בִּֽי׃

   لَنْ أَضَعَ نُصْبَ عَيْنَيَّ أَمْراً بَاطِلاً، فَإِنِّي أُبْغِضُ عَمَلَ الضَّالِّينَ لِئَلّا يَلْتَصِقَ بِي.

   I will set no base thing before mine eyes; I hate the doing of things crooked; it shall not cleave unto me.

4. לֵבָ֣ב עִ֭קֵּשׁ יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑נִּי רָ֝֗ע לֹ֣א אֵדָֽע׃

   لِيُفَارِقْنِي الْقَلْبُ الْمُنْحَرِفُ فَلَا أَرْتَكِبَ شَرّاً.

   A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil thing.

5. (מלושני) [מְלׇשְׁנִ֬י] בַסֵּ֨תֶר ׀ רֵעֵהוּ֮ אוֹת֢וֹ אַ֫צְמִ֥ית גְּֽבַהּ־עֵ֭ינַיִם וּרְחַ֣ב לֵבָ֑ב אֹ֝ת֗וֹ לֹ֣א אוּכָֽל׃

   أُبِيدُ كُلَّ مَنْ يَغْتَابُ قَرِيبَهُ سِرّاً؛ وَذُو الْعَيْنِ الْمُتَشَامِخَةِ وَالْقَلْبِ الْمُتَكَبِّرِ لَا أَحْتَمِلُهُ.

   Whoso slandereth his neighbour in secret, him will I destroy; Whoso is haughty of eye and proud of heart, him will I not suffer.

6. עֵינַ֤י ׀ בְּנֶֽאֶמְנֵי־אֶרֶץ֮ לָשֶׁ֢בֶת עִמָּ֫דִ֥י הֹ֭לֵךְ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ תָּמִ֑ים ה֝֗וּא יְשָׁרְתֵֽנִי׃

   تَرْعَى عَيْنَايَ الأُمَنَاءَ فِي الأَرْضِ لِيَسْكُنُوا مَعِي. وَخُدَّامِي هُمُ السَّالِكُونَ فِي طَرِيقِ الكَمَالِ.

   Mine eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a way of integrity, he shall minister unto me.

7. לֹֽא־יֵשֵׁ֨ב ׀ בְּקֶ֥רֶב בֵּיתִי֮ עֹשֵׂ֢ה רְמִ֫יָּ֥ה דֹּבֵ֥ר שְׁקָרִ֑ים לֹא־יִ֝כּ֗וֹן לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָֽי׃

   لَا يُقِيمُ دَاخِلَ بَيْتِي الْغَشَّاشُونَ، وَالْكَذَبَةُ لَا يَمْثُلُونَ أَمَامِي.

   He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

8. לַבְּקָרִ֗ים אַצְמִ֥ית כׇּל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָ֑רֶץ לְהַכְרִ֥ית מֵעִיר־ה׳ כׇּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃ {פ}

   أَقْضِي فِي كُلِّ صَبَاحٍ عَلَى جَمِيعِ الأَشْرَارِ فِي أَرْضِنَا، حَتَّى أَسْتَأْصِلَ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ الرَّبِّ كُلَّ فَاعِلِي الإِثْمِ.

   Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
