Psalm 20 — المزمور 20

תְּהִלִּים מזמור כ׳

1. לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃

   لقائد المنشدين. مزمور لداود.

   For the Leader. A Psalm of David.

2. יַֽעַנְךָ֣ ה׳ בְּי֣וֹם צָרָ֑ה יְ֝שַׂגֶּבְךָ֗ שֵׁ֤ם ׀ אֱ-לֹהֵי יַעֲקֹֽב׃

   لِيَسْتَجِبْ لَكَ الرَّبُّ فِي يَوْمِ ضِيقِكَ. لِيَحْرُسْكَ اسْمُ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ.

   The LORD answer thee in the day of trouble; The name of the God of Jacob set thee up on high;

3. יִשְׁלַֽח־עֶזְרְךָ֥ מִקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּ֝מִצִּיּ֗וֹן יִסְעָדֶֽךָּ׃

   لِيُرْسِلْ لَكَ عَوْناً مِنْ مَقْدِسِهِ، وَمُسَانَدَةً مِنْ صِهْيَوْنَ.

   Send forth thy help from the sanctuary, And support thee out of Zion;

4. יִזְכֹּ֥ר כׇּל־מִנְחֹתֶ֑ךָ וְעוֹלָתְךָ֖ יְדַשְּׁנֶ֣ה סֶֽלָה׃

   لِيَتَذَكَّرْ جَمِيعَ تَقْدِمَاتِكَ، وَيَتَقَبَّلْ مُحْرَقَاتِكَ.

   Receive the memorial of all thy meal-offerings, And accept the fat of thy burnt-sacrifice; Selah

5. יִֽתֶּן־לְךָ֥ כִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְֽכׇל־עֲצָתְךָ֥ יְמַלֵּֽא׃

   لِيُعْطِكَ بُغْيَةَ قَلْبِكَ، وَيُتَمِّمْ لَكَ كُلَّ مَقَاصِدِكَ.

   Grant thee according to thine own heart, And fulfil all thy counsel.

6. נְרַנְּנָ֤ה ׀ בִּ֘ישׁ֤וּעָתֶ֗ךָ וּבְשֵֽׁם־אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ נִדְגֹּ֑ל יְמַלֵּ֥א ה׳ כׇּל־מִשְׁאֲלוֹתֶֽיךָ׃

   نَهْتِفُ مُبْتَهِجِينَ بِخَلاصِكَ، وَبِاسْمِ إِلَهِنَا نَرْفَعُ رَايَتَنَا، لِيُحَقِّقْ لَكَ الرَّبُّ كُلَّ مَا تَسْأَلُهُ.

   We will shout for joy in thy victory, And in the name of our God we will set up our standards; The LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

7. עַתָּ֤ה יָדַ֗עְתִּי כִּ֤י הוֹשִׁ֥יעַ ׀ ה׳ מְשִׁ֫יח֥וֹ יַ֭עֲנֵהוּ מִשְּׁמֵ֣י קׇדְשׁ֑וֹ בִּ֝גְבֻר֗וֹת יֵ֣שַׁע יְמִינֽוֹ׃

   الآنَ أَدْرَكْتُ أَنَّ الرَّبَّ يُخَلِّصُ مَسِيحَهُ، وَيَسْتَجِيبُ مِنْ سَمَاوَاتِهِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ، بِقُدْرَةِ يَمِينِهِ الْمُخَلِّصَةِ.

   Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven With the mighty acts of His saving right hand.

8. אֵ֣לֶּה בָ֭רֶכֶב וְאֵ֣לֶּה בַסּוּסִ֑ים וַאֲנַ֓חְנוּ ׀ בְּשֵׁם־ה׳ אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ נַזְכִּֽיר׃

   يَتَّكِلُ هَؤُلاءِ عَلَى مَرْكَبَاتِ الْحَرْبِ، وَأُولَئِكَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ. أَمَّا نَحْنُ فَنَتَّكِلُ عَلَى اسْمِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا.

   Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will make mention of the name of the LORD our God.

9. הֵ֭מָּה כָּרְע֣וּ וְנָפָ֑לוּ וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ קַּ֝֗מְנוּ וַנִּתְעוֹדָֽד׃

   هُمْ خَرُّوا وَسَقَطُوا، أَمَّا نَحْنُ فَنَهَضْنَا وَانْتَصَبْنَا.

   They are bowed down and fallen; But we are risen, and stand upright.

10. ה׳ הוֹשִׁ֑יעָה הַ֝מֶּ֗לֶךְ יַעֲנֵ֥נוּ בְיוֹם־קׇרְאֵֽנוּ׃ {פ}

    خَلِّصْ يَا رَبُّ! لِيَسْتَجِبِ الْمَلِكُ حِينَ نَدْعُوهُ.

    Save, LORD; Let the King answer us in the day that we call.
