المزمور 48 — Psalm 48

תְּהִלִּים מזמור מ״ח

150 مزموراً مقدساً، ديوان الدعاء والتسبيح الأكبر، مع جدول القراءة الشهري (30 يوماً) والأسبوعي (7 أيام).

1. שִׁ֥יר מִ֝זְמ֗וֹר לִבְנֵי־קֹֽרַח׃

   نشيد. مزمور لبني قورح.

   A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah.

2. גָּ֘ד֤וֹל ה׳ וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד בְּעִ֥יר אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ הַר־קׇדְשֽׁוֹ׃

   مَا أَعْظَمَ الرَّبَّ وَمَا أَجْدَرَهُ بِالتَّسْبِيحِ فِي مَدِينَةِ إِلَهِنَا، فِي جَبَلِ قَدَاسَتِهِ!

   Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, In the city of our God, His holy mountain,

3. יְפֵ֥ה נוֹף֮ מְשׂ֢וֹשׂ כׇּל־הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ הַר־צִ֭יּוֹן יַרְכְּתֵ֣י צָפ֑וֹן קִ֝רְיַ֗ת מֶ֣לֶךְ רָֽב׃

   جَبَلُ صِهْيَوْنَ جَمِيلٌ فِي شُمُوخِهِ، (هُوَ) فَرَحُ كُلِّ الأَرْضِ حَتَّى أَقَاصِي الشَّمَالِ. هُوَ مَدِينَةُ الْمَلِكِ الْعَظِيمِ.

   Fair in situation, the joy of the whole earth; Even mount Zion, the uttermost parts of the north, The city of the great King.

4. אֱ-לֹהִים בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶ֗יהָ נוֹדַ֥ע לְמִשְׂגָּֽב׃

   الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) الْمُقِيمُ فِي قُصُورِهَا مَعْرُوفٌ بِأَنَّهُ حِصْنٌ مَنِيعٌ.

   God in her palaces Hath made Himself known for a stronghold.

5. כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֣ה הַ֭מְּלָכִים נ֥וֹעֲד֑וּ עָבְר֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃

   هُوَذَا الْمُلُوكُ قَدِ احْتَشَدُوا وَعَبَرُوا مَعاً.

   For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, They came onward together.

6. הֵ֣מָּה רָ֭אוּ כֵּ֣ן תָּמָ֑הוּ נִבְהֲל֥וּ נֶחְפָּֽזוּ׃

   رَأَوْا بَيْتَ الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) فَذُهِلُوا. ارْتَاعُوا وَفَرُّوا.

   They saw, straightway they were amazed; They were affrighted, they hasted away.

7. רְ֭עָדָה אֲחָזָ֣תַם שָׁ֑ם חִ֝֗יל כַּיּוֹלֵדָֽה׃

   هُنَاكَ اعْتَرَتْهُمْ رِعْدَةٌ فَتَوَجَّعُوا كَامْرَأَةٍ فِي مَخَاضِهَا.

   Trembling took hold of them there, Pangs, as of a woman in travail.

8. בְּר֥וּחַ קָדִ֑ים תְּ֝שַׁבֵּ֗ר אֳנִיּ֥וֹת תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ׃

   تُحَطِّمُ سُفُنَ تَرْشِيشَ بِرِيحٍ شَرْقِيَّةٍ.

   With the east wind Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish.

9. כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר שָׁמַ֨עְנוּ ׀ כֵּ֤ן רָאִ֗ינוּ בְּעִיר־ה׳ צְ-בָאוֹת בְּעִ֣יר אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ אֱ-לֹהִים יְכוֹנְנֶ֖הָ עַד־עוֹלָ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃

   كَمَا سَمِعْنَا رَأَيْنَا فِي مَدِينَةِ رَبِّ الْجُنُودِ، مَدِينَةِ إِلَهِنَا. حَقّاً إِنَّ الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) يُثَبِّتُهَا إِلَى الأَبَدِ.

   As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God— God establish it for ever. Selah

10. דִּמִּ֣ינוּ אֱ-לֹהִים חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ בְּ֝קֶ֗רֶב הֵיכָלֶֽךָ׃

    تَأَمَّلْنَا يَا الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) فِي رَحْمَتِكَ فِي وَسَطِ هَيْكَلِكَ.

    We have thought on Thy lovingkindness, O God, In the midst of Thy temple.

11. כְּשִׁמְךָ֤ אֱ-לֹהִים כֵּ֣ן תְּ֭הִלָּתְךָ עַל־קַצְוֵי־אֶ֑רֶץ צֶ֝֗דֶק מָלְאָ֥ה יְמִינֶֽךָ׃

    تَسْبِيحُكَ يَا الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) مِثْلُ اسْمِكَ يَبْلُغُ أَقَاصِي الأَرْضِ. يَمِينُكَ مَلآنَةٌ صَلاحاً.

    As is Thy name, O God, So is Thy praise unto the ends of the earth; Thy right hand is full of righteousness.

12. יִשְׂמַ֤ח ׀ הַר־צִיּ֗וֹן תָּ֭גֵלְנָה בְּנ֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֑ה לְ֝מַ֗עַן מִשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃

    لِيَفْرَحْ جَبَلُ صِهْيَوْنَ وَلْتَبْتَهِجْ بَنَاتُ يَهُوذَا مِنْ أَجْلِ أَحْكَامِ قَضَائِكَ.

    Let mount Zion be glad, Let the daughters of Judah rejoice, Because of Thy judgments.

13. סֹ֣בּוּ צִ֭יּוֹן וְהַקִּיפ֑וּהָ סִ֝פְר֗וּ מִגְדָּלֶֽיהָ׃

    جُولُوا فِي صِهْيَوْنَ وَدُورُوا حَوْلَهَا. عُدُّوا أَبْرَاجَهَا.

    Walk about Zion, and go round about her; Count the towers thereof.

14. שִׁ֤יתוּ לִבְּכֶ֨ם ׀ לְֽחֵילָ֗הֿ פַּסְּג֥וּ אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֑יהָ לְמַ֥עַן תְּ֝סַפְּר֗וּ לְד֣וֹר אַחֲרֽוֹן׃

    تَفَرَّسُوا فِي مَتَارِيسِهَا وَتَأَمَّلُوا قُصُورَهَا لِتُخْبِرُوا بِها الأَجْيَالَ الْقَادِمَةَ.

    Mark ye well her ramparts, Traverse her palaces; That ye may tell it to the generation following. .

15. כִּ֤י זֶ֨ה ׀ אֱ-לֹהִים אֱ-לֹהֵינוּ עוֹלָ֣ם וָעֶ֑ד ה֖וּא יְנַהֲגֵ֣נוּ עַל־מֽוּת׃ {פ}

    لأَنَّ الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) هَذَا هُوَ إِلَهُنَا إِلَى الدَّهْرِ وَالأَبَدِ، وَهُوَ هَادِينَا حَتَّى الْمَوْتِ.

    For such is God, our God, for ever and ever; He will guide us eternally.
