المزمور 58 — Psalm 58

תְּהִלִּים מזמור נ״ח

150 مزموراً مقدساً، ديوان الدعاء والتسبيح الأكبر، مع جدول القراءة الشهري (30 يوماً) والأسبوعي (7 أيام).

1. לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ אַל־תַּשְׁחֵ֗ת לְדָוִ֥ד מִכְתָּֽם׃

   لقائد المنشدين، «لا تهلك». لداود. مكتم.

   For the Leader; Al-tashheth. [A Psalm] of David; Michtam.

2. הַאֻמְנָ֗ם אֵ֣לֶם צֶ֭דֶק תְּדַבֵּר֑וּן מֵישָׁרִ֥ים תִּ֝שְׁפְּט֗וּ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃

   أَحَقّاً تَنْطِقُونَ بِالْحَقِّ أَيُّهَا الْحُكَّامُ، وَتَقْضُونَ بِالاسْتِقَامَةِ يَا بَنِي الْبَشَرِ؟

   Do ye indeed speak as a righteous company? Do ye judge with equity the sons of men?

3. אַף־בְּלֵב֮ עוֹלֹ֢ת תִּפְעָ֫ל֥וּן בָּאָ֡רֶץ חֲמַ֥ס יְ֝דֵיכֶ֗ם תְּפַלֵּסֽוּן׃

   لا! إِنَّمَا تُضْمِرُونَ الْبَاطِلَ فِي الْقَلْبِ وَتَرْتَكِبُ أَيْدِيكُمُ الظُّلْمَ فِي الأَرْضِ.

   Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; Ye weigh out in the earth the violence of your hands.

4. זֹ֣רוּ רְשָׁעִ֣ים מֵרָ֑חֶם תָּע֥וּ מִ֝בֶּ֗טֶן דֹּבְרֵ֥י כָזָֽב׃

   زَاغَ الأَشْرَارُ وَهُمْ مَا بَرِحُوا فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ، وَضَلُّوا نَاطِقِينَ بِالْكَذِبِ مُنْذُ أَنْ وُلِدُوا.

   The wicked are estranged from the womb; The speakers of lies go astray as soon as they are born.

5. חֲמַת־לָ֗מוֹ כִּדְמ֥וּת חֲמַת־נָחָ֑שׁ כְּמוֹ־פֶ֥תֶן חֵ֝רֵ֗שׁ יַאְטֵ֥ם אׇזְנֽוֹ׃

   فِيهِمْ سُمٌّ كَسُمِّ الْحَيَّاتِ، يَسُدُّونَ آذَانَهُمْ كَالأَفَاعِي الصَّمَّاءِ،

   Their venom is like the venom of a serpent; They are like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ear;

6. אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־יִ֭שְׁמַע לְק֣וֹל מְלַחֲשִׁ֑ים חוֹבֵ֖ר חֲבָרִ֣ים מְחֻכָּֽם׃

   الَّتِي لَا تَسْمَعُ لِصَوْتِ الْحُوَاةِ، وَلَا لِصَوْتِ السَّاحِرِ الْمَاهِرِ.

   Which hearkeneth not to the voice of charmers, Or of the most cunning binder of spells.

7. אֱ-לֹהִים הֲרׇס־שִׁנֵּ֥ימֽוֹ בְּפִ֑ימוֹ מַלְתְּע֥וֹת כְּ֝פִירִ֗ים נְתֹ֣ץ ׀ ה׳

   هَشِّمْ أَسْنَانَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ يَا الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم). حَطِّمْ أَنْيَابَ الأَشْبَالِ.

   Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth; Break out the cheek-teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

8. יִמָּאֲס֣וּ כְמוֹ־מַ֭יִם יִתְהַלְּכוּ־לָ֑מוֹ יִדְרֹ֥ךְ חִ֝צָּ֗ו כְּמ֣וֹ יִתְמֹלָֽלוּ׃

   لِيَتَلاشَوْا كَالْمَاءِ الْمُرَاقِ، وَلْتَتَكَسَّرْ رُؤُوسُ سِهَامِهِمْ عِنْدَمَا يُصَوِّبُونَهَا.

   Let them melt away as water that runneth apace; When he aimeth his arrows, let them be as though they were cut off.

9. כְּמ֣וֹ שַׁ֭בְּלוּל תֶּ֣מֶס יַהֲלֹ֑ךְ נֵ֥פֶל אֵ֝֗שֶׁת בַּל־חָ֥זוּ שָֽׁמֶשׁ׃

   لِيَتَلاشَوْا مِثْلَ الْقَوَاقِعِ فِي أَثْنَاءِ زَحْفِهَا، وَكَالْجَنِينِ الْمُجْهَضِ لَا يُعَايِنُونَ الشَّمْسَ.

   Let them be as a snail which melteth and passeth away; Like the untimely births of a woman, that have not seen the sun.

10. בְּטֶ֤רֶם ׀ יָבִ֣ינוּ סִּירֹתֵכֶ֣ם אָטָ֑ד כְּמוֹ־חַ֥י כְּמוֹ־חָ֝ר֗וֹן יִשְׂעָרֶֽנּוּ׃

    وَقَبْلَ أَنْ تُحِسَّ قُدُورُكُمْ بِنَارِ الأَشْوَاكِ تَحْتَهَا، يَكْتَسِحُ الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) كَبِيرَهُمْ وَصَغِيرَهُمْ بِعَاصِفَةِ غَضَبِهِ،

    Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will sweep it away with a whirlwind, the raw and the burning alike.

11. יִשְׂמַ֣ח צַ֭דִּיק כִּי־חָזָ֣ה נָקָ֑ם פְּעָמָ֥יו יִ֝רְחַ֗ץ בְּדַ֣ם הָרָשָֽׁע׃

    يَفْرَحُ الأَبْرَارُ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ عِقَابَ الأَشْرَارِ، وَيَغْسِلُونَ أَقْدَامَهُمْ بِدَمِهِمْ.

    The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance; He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

12. וְיֹאמַ֣ר אָ֭דָם אַךְ־פְּרִ֣י לַצַּדִּ֑יק אַ֥ךְ יֵשׁ־אֱ-לֹהִים שֹׁפְטִ֥ים בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ {פ}

    فَيَقُولُ النَّاسُ: «حَقّاً إِنَّ للِصِّدِّيقِ مُكَافَأَةً، وَإِنَّ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلَهاً يَقْضِي».

    And men shall say: 'Verily there is a reward for the righteous; Verily there is a God that judgeth in the earth.'
