Psalm 87 — المزمور 87

תְּהִלִּים מזמור פ״ז

The 150 Psalms of David with monthly and weekly liturgical schedules.

1. לִבְנֵי־קֹ֭רַח מִזְמ֣וֹר שִׁ֑יר יְ֝סוּדָת֗וֹ בְּהַרְרֵי־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

   أَسَّسَ الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم) الْمَدِينَةَ عَلَى الْجِبَالِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ.

   A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

2. אֹהֵ֣ב ה׳ שַׁעֲרֵ֣י צִיּ֑וֹן מִ֝כֹּ֗ל מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת יַעֲקֹֽב׃

   أَحَبَّ الرَّبُّ أَبْوَابَ صِهْيَوْنَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ جَمِيعِ مَسَاكِنِ بَنِي يَعْقُوبَ.

   The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3. נִ֭כְבָּדוֹת מְדֻבָּ֣ר בָּ֑ךְ עִ֖יר הָאֱ-לֹהִים סֶֽלָה׃

   يَتَحَدَّثُونَ عَنْكِ بِأُمُورٍ مَجِيدَةٍ يَا مَدِينَةَ الرَّبّ (هَاشِيم).

   Glorious things are spoken of Thee, O city of God. Selah

4. אַזְכִּ֤יר ׀ רַ֥הַב וּבָבֶ֗ל לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י הִנֵּ֤ה פְלֶ֣שֶׁת וְצֹ֣ר עִם־כּ֑וּשׁ זֶ֝֗ה יֻלַּד־שָֽׁם׃

   أَذْكُرُ مِصْرَ وَبَابِلَ بَيْنَ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَنِي، وَكَذَلِكَ فَلَسْطِينَ وَصُورَ مَعَ الْحَبَشَةِ، فَيَقُولُونَ: هَذَا وُلِدَ فِي صِهْيَوْنَ.

   'I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know Me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.'

5. וּ֥לְצִיּ֨וֹן ׀ יֵאָמַ֗ר אִ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִישׁ יֻלַּד־בָּ֑הּ וְה֖וּא יְכוֹנְנֶ֣הָ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃

   حَقّاً عَنْ صِهْيَوْنَ يَقُولُونَ: «هَذَا الإِنْسَانُ وَهَذَا الإِنْسَانُ وُلِدَ فِيهَا، وَالْعَلِيُّ يُثَبِّتُهَا».

   But of Zion it shall be said: 'This man and that was born in her; And the Most High Himself doth establish her.'

6. ה׳ יִ֭סְפֹּר בִּכְת֣וֹב עַמִּ֑ים זֶ֖ה יֻלַּד־שָׁ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃

   يُدَوِّنُ الرَّبُّ فِي سِجِلِّ إِحْصَاءِ الشُّعُوبِ أَنَّ هَذَا وُلِدَ هُنَاكَ.

   The LORD shall count in the register of the peoples: 'This one was born there.' Selah

7. וְשָׁרִ֥ים כְּחֹלְלִ֑ים כׇּֽל־מַעְיָנַ֥י בָּֽךְ׃ {פ}

   الْمُرَنِّمُونَ وَالْعَازِفُونَ عَلَى السَّوَاءِ يَقُولُونَ: «فِيكِ كُلُّ يَنَابِيعِ سُرُورِي».

   And whether they sing or dance, all my thoughts are in Thee.
